Job Summary
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to develop and optimize robot motion control systems at our North Reading, MA location. The role involves establishing robust testing frameworks, designing automated validation routines, and creating automated test suites for system analysis. This full-time position will collaborate with leading applied scientists to design solutions scalable to clients operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and tune control algorithms on physical hardware.
- Establish testing frameworks and automated validation routines.
- Implement standardized processes for controller performance evaluation.
- Troubleshoot complex control issues using data-driven methodologies.
- Design and analyze systems using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
Must-have Skills:
- Strong foundation in classical controls, linear systems, and applied dynamics.
- Experience developing and tuning control algorithms on physical hardware.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar tools for modeling and analysis.
Industry Experience:
- Preferably in Robotics, Controls, or related fields.
